Before the revolution the same rooms housed the Moscow Fencing & Gymnastics Society; the Durov brothers trained there, and Chekhov once visited and admired the room. Today the door runs the Insiders Intensive, the ecosystem's flagship program: 27 cohorts since 2011, 200+ startups graduated, 31 accepted into top accelerators (Y Combinator, Techstars, 500, Alchemist, SkyDeck), $270M+ raised from top investors globally, and 7 exits. Behind the door stands the Fencing & Jousting Society, an invitation-only community of mentors and investors carrying the room's old name forward.
